Last year I thought that I might be interested in completing (another) round of Whole30, but I couldn't find a solid 30 days where I wouldn't be traveling. Whole30 is nearly impossible while traveling so I decided to forgo that idea. I also had a crazy, busy year between school, work, life – it was a mess and most of the time I didn’t feel like I could even keep my head above water. There were points where I couldn’t justify spending two hours to meal prep when I needed to spend two hours studying for the bar exam or two hours doing laundry. When push comes to shove, I need clean underwear before I need homemade ranch.
Hellloooooo 2019! I’m ready for you!
I initially had this post completed last week, but when I went to save it, the page refreshed and didn’t end up saving. Ugh! Technology... I mourned the loss with a bath, book, and bottle of wine. My favorite three B’s.
I digress... This year I decided to forgo the traditional New Year’s Resolutions and instead do 101 things in 1001 days. I got this idea from Day Zero Project and Mackenzie. I’m excited because they range from very mundane, everyday things (waking up at 5:30am for two weeks) to extravagant things I may never get to (traveling to a new continent!)
