So, let's chat about what to wear to work. I have to wear business professional and, in the dead of Chicago's winter, that is sometimes difficult. That's why I love wearing pencil skirts! On the way into the office, I either wear my snow or rain boots and change into flats or heels once I arrive. That's so much easier to do when I have on tights and a skirt as opposed to pants. Shoving pants into boots, arriving at work, and having them wrinkled is one of my pet peeves.
I couldn't resist buying this skirt. I love the bow detailing and the length of the skirt. I wore it pretty high on my waist and it still felt long enough to be office appropriate. [I'm 5'8" for reference!] I also bought my tights and turtleneck from J.Crew. These tights are the perfect fit and I'm so pleased that I stocked up when they were on sale. I decided to pair a turtleneck with this look because it looks professional and is still warm. It's also thin enough to throw a blazer over if I need to go to court.
I did an Instagram poll to try to determine what most of my reader's wear to work. A lot of you wear Business Casual. [So jealous!] I think this skirt could easily transition into a Business Casual environment or be useful for a client meeting where you need something a little dressier. It's such a great statement piece and, if you love bows as much as I do, I know that you will love this skirt!
