I struggled with finding a way to store my essential oils in a cute, but practical, way. Let me start off my saying that I am not into the acrylic furniture/decoration trend and tend to think less is more when it comes to acrylics. I'm not sure if it's too modern for me or if I think too much acrylic screams cheap. However, when I was on the hunt to find a way to store essential oils I looked for two things. First, I wanted them to be out in the open on my counter. Oils are only effective if you use them in an intentional, consistent way and seeing them everyday would remind me to use them. [If you're interested about which oils I use look here.] Secondly, I wanted something where I could also store my perfume, lipstick, mascara, and brushes.
One Saturday, I went to The Container Store where I found this tier. I thought it was perfect, but I was unsure about the size. It is about 11 inches wide by 14 inches high. I am blessed to have a lot of counter space in my small studio apartment bathroom, but this is something to keep in mind if you are planning on buying this. I think it would be stunning if you have a large perfume collection or to use on the woman's side of a shared bathroom. I placed it in my bathroom and kept my oils on the bottom with my make-up and brushes on the top. Overall, I love how it ended up looking! This is one piece of acrylic decor that is sure to stay in my apartment for a long time.
