This week felt great! Attribute it to my two days off or the fact that I finished three (yes, three!) books this week. I feel centered, loved, and overall so happy.
I’ve spoken before about how much I have food regret… This week I contained it really well. I had some regret and anxiety behind drinking and eating non-gluten free/sugar-heavy foods (say that five times fast) on Wednesday night, but as LV told me, “No need for anxiety, it already happened so it’s nothing to fret over.”
With that I bring you my workout routine and what I ate this week! I didn’t make it to five workouts this week but MAN I was so sore from taking DanceBody on Monday. I shamelessly took the online class in my kitchen since DanceBody only has studios in NYC and that is 780 miles away. Needless to say I loved it. I want to work up to taking three classes a week, but as of right now I can only manage one. I’m going to try to work in one DanceBody class every other week until April and then increase it from there.
There are only two weeks left of this challenge. I know its’s not as intense as Whole30 or dramatic as Keto. I haven’t lost a ton of weight but what I have learned a ton about is the way my body responds to different foods and portion control. I think that is more important to me anyway. As always, I’d love to hear how you’re doing health-wise in this new year! I’ll be giving away some treats to a few readers who comment on this post and let me know how they’re doing.
Monday // DanceBody signature class
Tuesday // elliptical
Wednesday // BBG arms/abs and three mile run
Thursday // BBG legs
Last year I had the flu and watched all of Whitney Port’s videos on her YouTube channel. None of them were relevant to my life because they were all about pregnancy. However, I subscribed and kept up with her channel and she recently put out this video on what she eats in a day and I loved it! (Probably because I’m nosey but mostly because I adore her!!!)
I’ve been very self-conscious about my wrinkles lately… VERY self-conscious. I do get Botox, but I try to limit it as it’s expensive and I don’t want to look like I’m unemotional. Well, well, well… I came across these babies and decided to give them a try! Follow me on IG and I’ll report back in a few weeks to let you know if they work! ;)
I went and got a physical this week and my doctor recommended I grab Ritual vitamins and start taking those as opposed to my Women’s One-a-Day vitamins. I really like them thus far; I don’t notice any huge improvement, but they are merely vitamins after all. If you want to try Ritual and get $5 off – use this link. #notsponsored
Last but not least, this essay on gaining weight is beautiful.
Work out five times between now and Friday.
I still struggle with cooking meals at home… I have so many work/social events coming up that it just makes sense to eat there. I save money and feel more social that way. So, my challenge is to cook dinner at home twice this week. I think that is manageable!
Wake up early all four days of the work week next week (I’m off on Friday for a dear friend’s WEDDING!)
