Last week was... Interesting to say the least. As the school year comes to a close, it's hard to believe that in 3 short weeks I'll have my J.D. After being in school for so long, I can't believe that this chapter of my life is coming to an end. It never seemed like it'd get here and now that it's here I feel a sense of emptiness. All of my energy has gone to Loyola for the past 3 years and it's hard to imagine where this energy will go. I'm excited and relieved to be graduating, but with all things that come to an end, there is a sense of sadness.
I'm trying to cherish every moment of April with my family and friends as May, June, and July consist of graduating and studying for the BAR Exam and August I start working full-time. It's going to be a busy next five-ish months and an adjustment for each new adventure I embark on, but I'm excited and thankful for all the opportunities I've been given.
ONE // First time on the elliptical in... years? It was a nice change of pace from the treadmill and it gave my shin splints some much needed time to rest.
TWO // First time at Joe & the Juice. Honestly, not a huge fan. I may go back for a sandwich, but their juices and smoothies aren't that great and are very overpriced.
THREE // Meal planning made WAY easier by Annie.
FOUR // Chicago's Mexican food is usually a hard pass but the margarita flight at Casa Margarita is the bomb. [And only $17!!!]
SIX // Finished listening to The Nightingale on audiobook. Seriously, such an amazing story. I would HIGHLY recommend if you have time coming up where you'll be traveling and need something to listen to to pass the time.
